Important Message : Don’t Jump The Fence - Sit on it for a year.

Please do NOT try to come to the festival if you don’t have a ticket, or are on the crew for this year’s festival. If you do try to enter without a ticket, you will jeopardise the future of the festival. We also don't have any more space for cars or tents.

Fire in the Mountain is a community focused not for profit festival which we intentionally keep small and intimate - we are not about profit or money, but rather community and the land. All our surplus money in reinvested to renovate the farm and improve the event.

We are concerned there is a significant buzz about the festival (which is very flattering) and that tickets have sold out earlier than ever, and many of you might not have a ticket. Please come next year and buy your tickets early next time. They do in sale 1st December.

To be on the safe side we will be doing random wristband checks every day, and those without wristbands will be asked by our security to leave. This is to protect the future of the festival for the wider community.

If our numbers go over this year, we will not be able to run the event next year. We ask for your patience and support. The dates for the festival in 2026will be 29th-31st May, if all goes well this year.

There are many many other lovely festivals this summer with tickets still available; Knockengoroch, Seeker, Green Gathering, Smugglers, Fanny's Meadow, Moseley Folk Festival - where you can see all the bands playing at our event.

Immerse yourself in music, song and dance for a week at this family friendly residential music camp. During the day we partake in tuition in small groups in; Fiddle, Banjo, Guitar, Singing, or a Mixed Instruments for beginners class (we might add more courses like Accordion). These tuition groups are available for beginners, improvers or advanced players, tailored to your needs. In the early evenings there are workshops available for all, a “slow jam” for beginners, The Honky Tonk Choir amongst others… then into the late evening we host Square/Barn/Ceilidh Dances or you can play and “session” with friends until you want to go to bed.

Do you practice enough? Do you know what to practice? Stuck in a rut with your instrument? Can’t quite get that lick? Do you sing enough? Whether you’re a complete beginner or a jobbing musician, this camp is for you… get stuck in and spend the week with your instrument in fine company.
